Apologies as I'm sure this has been discussed before. I've tried searching, though, and haven't found anything.

Does anyone know of a way to tag wines with a "style", either a single style or several descriptors? Perhaps this would be similar to the Food Pairing tags, which do have some limited utility (*). For example, I would love to see my "hedonistic" wines vs. my "light" vs. my "tart" vs. my "funky" vs. "floral" wines.

For example, I might have a red I'd like to be associated with "herbal" and "tart". I might have a white I'd associate with "mineral" and "floral" and "crisp".

When I'm searching for a wine for a meal, I'm often spending too much time sifting through wines for style.

* I can search my wines for a given term that I have entered as a food pairing tag. I can search all CT wines for a given term that any CT user has entered as a food pairing tag, but I haven't found a way to search my wines for a given term that any CT user has entered as a food tag.

Your last point is correct and reflects a current limitation of the query capabilities of the existing food pairing tags.

We have a variety of notes fields that could work for you here: https://support.cellartracker.com/article/50-public-and-private-note-types

Probably per-wine private notes are most appropriate.
