All I was checking out our local Whole Foods wine prices and a few of appear to be decent deals. Do you recommends any of these? I'm thinking to pick up the Barolos.

Pio Cesare, Barolo, 2010, 2014 ($45)
Vietti Barolo Castiglione Red Blend, 2010, 2015, 2016 ($35)
Stags Leap Artemis, 2017 ($45)
Banfi Brunello, 2014 ($50)
Degani Amarone, 2015 ($35)
Domaine Grand Veneur, Chateauneuf Du Pape, 2016 ($30)
FATTORIA LA LECCIAIA Brunello, 2013 ($25)
Begali Amarone, 2015 ($25)

At those prices, it's worth a try. You may want to read the tasting notes to see if the profile is what you enjoy. I still remember the 06 Pio Cesare on release and being wowed by it.

Pretty much anything Vietti makes is solid and that is a great deal for that bottle... I believe WF also gives you steep discounts for buying by the half-case and case

That's a decent price on the Artemis but it's '17 which is a down year and they're trying to clear inventory. Pass on that many other non '17 wines you can find in that price range.

I have had a couple of other vintages of the Leccaia (both regular brunello and reserve) and that's a very solid price. I've been seeing more like $30 around me. It is on the light (or would it be lite) end of the brunello scale - in the glass it could pass for a burgundy, or at least an American pinot.

Whole foods does also give you 20% off when you buy full cases. They are supposed to be whole cases I think, but probably could get away with some mixing potentially if you are buying 12 bottles or more.

I picked up all the 2010s they only had 6 bottles left. They had a few bottles of 2014 Pio Cesare and full case of 2015 and 16 Vietti. 20% off Vietti would be a sweet deal.
