Hello everyone…I’m seeing this retailer a lot now on Wine Searcher. They appear to have really great prices and reasonable shipping. Just curious if anybody has bought from them and what your experience has been.

Thanks

Rick

I read through the thread and it made my head hurt. I think I’m going to pass on ordering from them and just stick with my normal wine retailers. What do they say about if it’s too good to be true…

I’ve made 1 pre-arrival purchase that was supposed to arrive in the summer in a climate controlled transport, and I’m still waiting. Communications are good. Prices seemed good at the time, but I’ve already seen the same wine in retailers at similar prices.

Let’s just say Im not making anymore purchases until these bottles arrive. I’ve seen this movie play out before.

I’ve read the entire Berserkers thread and it looks like nobody there has received their wine either. I’ll wait to hear what people say after receiving the wine and see if I want to give them a try. Their prices are very low.

Well getting in early you will be at the top of the Ponzi so you should get your wine Not saying that Vint is that, who knows? And there prices are not at the stupid low that Premier Cru prices were.

Let us know when you receive the wines. I notice they are sending me emails with wines in stock. I’m tempted because of their prices but I’ll wait a bit longer.

Carolina Wine too.
But Crish bought a nice boat, so that makes it all ok.

Sherry-Lehman never had the lowest prices but was on super premium location in Midtown Manhattan on Park Avenue. It too failed with many holding worthless purchase receipts.

This is another reason I buy in 6 bottle amounts. This way I don’t have much too lose. I never buy in large amounts.

Glad you got your wine. What was the total waiting time?

Order was placed May 2.

“Looks like we have a 12-bottle case available on prearrival. That case would be coming direct from Europe, so the ETA to you would be 6-12 weeks, does that timing work for you?”

Timing was a little off. Lol

6 1/2 months is a bit long. The Pre-Orders I’ve bought from Saratoga have been 3-4 months maximum.
