I need to go for business next week to McAllen TX and I have a 6 liter bottle of Bordeaux waiting in NY. I pay for next day shipping and its in NY on hold. I will get a hell of a lot of bottles over the next 3 months shipped to my adress in McAllen and since I can only bring 6 liters per adult to Mexico any time I go there is an opportunity to start bringing wine. Temps in Texas are going to be in the mid to upper 80s and I am not sure if this wine can be safe even if its shipped overnight. SHould I tell them to ship it or am I taking a big gamble even if its an overnight shipping ?

IMO Young Bordeaux’s generally pretty resilient as well in transit

If you’re paying for overnight can you make it refrigerated to be super safe?
How long will it sit in a truck before delivery to your address?

No wine delivery yet. Zachys quoted me for next day air BUT they dont send wine to Texas other than on a consolidated truck once or twice a month. So the $110 for overnight shippment that was charged many months ago is going to be refunded and it will go by ground in maybe 3 weeks when the upper 80s subside and we get into those 60s that we all love

They can add cold packs, very inexpensive.
