Eric -> CellarTracker Newsletter (8/10/2004 12:50:38 AM)

Occasionally we send out newsletters summarizing the changes on the site over that period of time.

Cheers!

Colonel Lawrence -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter (6/30/2007 11:01:03 AM)

When was the last Newsletter?
L.

Eric -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter (6/30/2007 3:45:50 PM)

There have been a few since this--I need to update this page. The most recent one was in January of this year, and I plan another one shortly.

Colonel Lawrence -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter (7/9/2007 1:52:43 AM)

At the risk of appearing totally stupid - where do I find it?
If it's emailed then I probably have it set to "Off" (got fed up with an enormous box of unwanted stuff mixed with the good, so generally decline everything).
Tx,
L.

Colonel, I haven't posted the January one here yet. A missed step on my part. When I do I will add a link above.

KC Lawyer -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter (12/24/2007 9:29:35 PM)

Okay, I'm an "on again - off again" user.
I'm on again.
And impressed.
As a mac user I've been a little frustrated with the difficulty of label/barcode printing, but have developed a work around with FM Pro. Glad to share it if anyone interested.
Anyway, Eric, I've spent hundreds of $ on shareware and proprietary programs to find a way to catalog my (miniscule collection of) wine with lots of data and minimal effort. Only CellarTracker has come close. And CellarTracker hits the ball out of the park.
I've seen posts from those who want a slicker interface, and nod to them that it would be cool. But would I trade a slick interface for the immense data of CT? No way.
So, simply, thank you.

As said "better interface" poster, I totally agree. I would never exchange the power of CT for a pretty face. But it sure would be cool.

YoDaddyO -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter and Crestron (1/3/2010 11:55:06 AM)

One of these days...the power of best of breed and the simplicity of technology will combine to eliminate the secret/black box model that is home automation today.

I yearn for a CellarTracker approach to full home automation rather than the hostage drama of "call the authorized programmer for help lest you blow everything up" which is the current state of affairs.

Having said that...CT has certainly established itself as THE standard in the home automation world.

I'm in the process of deploying a Lifeware platform that will incorporate my 3000 bottle cellar with a full cellarsensor deployment...can't wait.

Eric -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter and Crestron (1/3/2010 12:12:20 PM)

Very cool. FWIW, there were enough people with Crestron systems that we thought it worthwhile to build a dedicated Crestron app for CellarTracker. www.cellartracker.com/crestron

As I push further into more API access in the future I want to make it easy for people to build CT-data (from an individual account) into a wider variety of scenarios.

cookiefiend -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter and Crestron (8/16/2013 12:47:27 PM)

Hi Eric!

Mr Cookie had the link to the original site on his phone... I couldn't use it!
The 'new' site is So. Much. Better!

Thank you!

ps- the mobile link is on his phone now [:D]

endorphinplay -> RE: CellarTracker Newsletter and Crestron (12/29/2018 11:14:27 AM)

Eric, you should either update this or probably better yet unfavorite it and instead have a page containing all the updates individually rather than hidden in the forum.
