Anyone ever order from these guys?

I am trying to get my wines for the next virtual tasting and none of the local shops seem to have more than the Greysac.  (Although apes, if you read this, I think you are in CT.  If you know anyplace in Fairfield, let me know).

Thanks.

Dear gbm,

I have not ordered from Empire Wine, but I have spoken with them a few times, and I have friends who lived in Albany, NY who were quite familiar with the shop. My sense from all this is that they are pretty legit, and they have some good prices.

Cheers
John

I use them frequently.  They used to be called Capital Wine - they changed their name last year.  They have a large location in Albany NY where you can pick up you online order - or have it shipped UPS.  I live just ourside NYC and it takes one day for me to receive my order.

They always respect vintage and if something isn't just as described on the website (few bottles available than I ordered, different vintage or longer lag time) they always call. I have ordered from Empire Wine numerous times with much success.

I do live in CT, but most of wine online. I have ordered from Empire and had no problems.

Thanks all.  I will order through them and give it a shot.  Their selection is pretty good.
