Narrow Results vs Summarize By... (Full Version)

RandyAboutWine -> Narrow Results vs Summarize By... (10/21/2015 6:20:48 PM) If I'm looking at my cellar and choose "Summarize By..." Location, I see three top-level groups: (pending delivery), Cellar and Off-site. However, if I choose "Narrow Results" Narrow list by Location, only Cellar and Off-site are available as choices. The (pending delivery) choice is not available, and the bottles pending delivery are not included in Cellar or Off-site.

dpolivy -> RE: Narrow Results vs Summarize By... (10/21/2015 6:38:42 PM) If you want to see pending bottles, there is a separate view for that. Change the drop down to Pending and then you can see all bottles. Because pending isn't a location, it doesn't appear in that list. Dan

Eric -> RE: Narrow Results vs Summarize By... (10/21/2015 11:30:03 PM) We do actually have a special internal value for bottles that are pending (and don't yet have a location) which is "(n/a)". Clicking on PENDING DELIVERY gets you to this: https://www.cellartracker.com/list.asp?table=List&Location=%28n%2Fa%29 This is not fully exposed in our filtering UI though.
