Over the past week I have integrated:
  • 60,000 new auction datapoints including Wine Market Journal data from Q1 2010 as well as data from Benchmark to help fill some of the pricing holes. More WMJ integration such as drill-across to their site should be coming shortly. Personally with the addition of the newer data and market fluctuations I saw my cellar value rise about 4%.
  • Almost 6,000 reviews from Jancis Robinson dating back over the past 6 months.
  • About 5,000 reviews from Steve Tanzer's IWC including Issue 149 as well as close to 2,000 "bonus" reviews dating back two years.
  • About 800 reviews from Allen Meadows' Burghound from Issue 38. We have also done a LOT more mapping and brought our totals to 98% mapped.
  • Several hundred other reviews from Roy Hersh's For The Love of Port and Gary Vaynerchuck's Wine Library TV.
Coming soon we will have new issues of John Gilman's View From The Cellar as well as IWC Issue 150 which just published the other day.

just sent you an email asking how to see the wmj valuations; if you can point me in the direction of instructions for full use of the wmj info, i will appreciate it

tons of data; all the reviews you have integrated are now available as you click on the review source options in left column of site, correct? or are they available via another click

thanks

bob

I replied to the email. The valuation of your cellar already takes WMJ info into account per the FAQ: http://www.cellartracker.com/valuefaq.asp
Also, on the page for each wine, if you click the WMJ value shown you can now drill across to the WMJ site and dig deeply into that valuation, see the underlying auctions, trends over time etc.

Also recently integrated:
  • Issue 150 of Tanzer plus another 100 bonus reviews.
  • John Gilman's View From the Cellar issue #26
  • Champagne Warrior Issue #6
  • Another 143 reviews from the New York Cork Report (formerly LENNDEVOURS) and a rebranding as New York Cork Report.
  • All Burghound reviews are mapped now, 100%.
  • More than 90% of the Jancis Robinson Purple Pages reviews are mapped.
  • Wine Market Journal integration is in place with the ability register after the opt-in and also with click-across from CT/GS to the WMJ to let you drill down into the auction values. It's quite cool!

Issue 39 from Burghound, another ~850 reviews fully integrated less than 24 hours after they were posted. A new record.
Another 650 notes from the World of Fine Wine.
Another dozen notes from Kapon's vintage tastings.

And a couple of exciting new channels (no, NOT Parker or Spector and please do NOT hold your breathe) to come online in the next few weeks to months. Plus ongoing conversations with at least another half dozen critics around the world.
