Got some Rivers-Marie Summa, Sonoma Coast, Silver Eagle, and Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. Didn't hesitate on Outpost True Vineyard this year and miss the boat like last year. Waiting on Myriad to go live for my usual Dr. Crane.

I did exercise some self restraint this year, and ordered in sensible quantities.

We'll have to do a 2014 Outpost True Vineyard vs. 2015 True Vineyard sometime.

Outpost and Myriad - now the challenge is to delete all other offers until Berserker Day ...

Sandlands' marketing / public relations department probably monitors this site and thought that they were (a) doing you a favor since your credit cards are probably on fire and (b) doing the rest of the wine buying public a solid by giving them a chance to buy a few bottles before you scooped them all up.

Bob, your nickname should be Hoover of Wine.

Not sure I can afford entire allocation but I'll max on Trousseau and Syrah for sure.

Oh, and I bought a little treat for the Offlineorama.

I bought some of my Sandlands allocation, a mix of chenin, carignane, mataro, and Syrah.

Tomorrow I attend a tasting with the winemaker from Mouton Noir. I know nothing about the wines other than what I have read online. One of the owners from the LWS invited us so we will go and see if it interests us.

Will be purchasing a mixed 6 bottles (or more) of Sandlands plus my Carlisle allocation next week.

Intrigued with the Sandlands Trousseau, although not familiar with the grape. Similarities???

This is similar to our approach. I think I took a 3 pack rather than a 4 pack on something. But a lot of wine.

the Arnot-Roberts Trousseau is a great wine. Not too serious. To me it is a really good Thanksgiving turkey dinner wine.
Bight tart rasberry/strawberry with good acidity. You should try one.

Sandlands order placed, along with Carlisle today. These producers do a great job with grape varieties that i feel California does best.

6x each of ‘11 and ‘12 Joliet Fixin Clos de la Perrieres, the ‘11 vintage is selling at 40% discount from BBR sales, £20 a bottle is a no-brainer.

When will I learn to walk away from a good deal?

We Pobegad 09 J Tardy Fixin "La Place" last night. Not very complex, but absolutely delicious
Just like your situation, the deal was irresistible
