If so, a belated Happy Birthday!

Indeed it was. Belated wishes from across the big waters.

Thanks for remembering

Indeed it was my birthday yesterday - half of which was spent at my little boys first day of school.  Recommendation:  Do not drink heavily the night before going to spend 4 hours in a class room full of 3 and 4 year olds.

I am feeling a touch older than my 41 years this morning as well due to some rather hefty Argentinian wines drunk late last night.  Another recommendation:  Do not open another bottle of wine at 12:30 at night and not expect damage.

London chaps - I was thinking of having an evening at Planet of the Grapes near Liverpool street in the next week or two.

Bryan - I managed 10 days.  Pretty good going I thought.   Although to be fair my "wagon" did have special birthday and Eric dispensations inserted into it..

I think I am going to try (really try) to not drink during the week*

*conditions may apply

I'm actually tempted to stay on my wagon for a bit longer.  Usually I come of just before the end of January but I'm losing a ton of weight at the moment.  I'm even toying with the idea of taking the whole year off booze.  Yeah of course it won't happen, but I'm amazed I'm even thinking about it.

Dont talk madness - look what the lack of booze is doing to your brain?  Plus it is your birthday next week isn't it?

Welcome to the "over the second hill" club of which I am an honorary member because I'm actually a member of the "over the third hill" club!

Happy birthday!

My liver has been removed and replaced by a bucket.

I think Bryan is next up -  and it is his 40th next week.

He's probably still in France and nearly unrecognizable after a month of being force fed foie gras 5 times per day

Happy Birthday PJ

Was thinking Paul is still trapped deep within Khamen's cellar in a small cage.  What kind of birthday is that??
