I'm in for the 18th, but not the 19th.  And right now I'm +1 for the 18th, although I'll update if that changes.  That is if there's still room.  If not, I understand.  Was late getting to this thread . . .

So looks we're a definite "no" for that weekend. That's the weekend right before the wedding and there's a lot to do. I might have been able to convince Michelle if it were in town, but a trip to Austin is going to be too much. Next time, for sure.

Already looking like a sick line-up! The 2006 vintage of that Schafer-Frohlich Riesling was the bottle that got me into wine - ordered it off the list at Uchi in Austin. The 2008 has been my favorite of the past few vintages.

I can't say 100% given that The Nelson is that week and I won't even start inviting people for another month or so. I will try to steer people toward Thursday so I can get down to Austin but wont know for sure until the beginning of May. It is a top priority to find a way to be there though. If I do make it, I can leave the wife at home especially since she won't be drinking.

Adam, if it is OK with you I'm going to put you on the wait list for right now until others confirm whether they'll definitely be there, whether they're bringing a plus one, etc... Per several people that have chimed in online and offline we're trying to limit it to 20 people or less and we're already over that number if everybody confirms with their current plus ones.

Of course YoDaddyO is the official host and he has veto authority in my book.

floydtp, do you want me to confirm you now for one, two or move to the wait list. You're call boss since you signed up early and signed up often.

By the way, let's all not forget that GalvezGuy's plus one and floydtp's plus one (assuming she comes) will not be drinking wine. That puts the official wine drinking total at 21 and 19 based on current numbers. That averages right at the cap of 20. Fuzzy math!

I'm good for that weekend.

Good news for those in the waiting list since Marcela won't be able to make it to the evening dinners.

However, please put me down for +1.5 for the now traditional Saturday afternoon tasting. Yes, my then 6 month son, Santiago, will join us briefly to meet everyone

Yummy, looking forward to another shot at that Pegau. It has been different each time we have had it, but tasty as well. Double decant that Brunello so it can show all it has

anyone got a proposal for a theme tasting yet as part of this ? I could fill in some Beringer Reserves or we could go for something different this time like different wines, same vintage.
