Pain heals. Glory lasts forever.

..... or at least 3 or 4 decades.

Oh, and congratulations on joining the CLUB. (I see you already know to always type anything directly relating to MACDONALD in all capitals to keep Scott happy. )

I got an allocation today too (apparently if you missed the buy button from the first release, this is the second chance). You might get mine, I can't make myself swallow that pill.

I only signed up for the list last November. Not holding out much hope that I'll make it on this year. I've kept my list buying this Fall to a very scant few so I think I could swing this potentially should the opportunity arise.

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, but...
Yields will probably be down significantly next year and not much improved for the '16 vintage.
Alex said there were about 2000 people on the waiting list last year (not sure how many people have signed up since then).
So if you get an offer, pounce quickly. I missed the first 2 years because they sold out in about 15 minutes.

I've got time on my side and have no problem waiting if that's what's in the cards. My only hope is that by the time I make it on to the list it's not because spots have simply opened up because pricing has gotten crazy and my first allocation comes with an eye popping smack in the face.

The Thomas Pinot Noir mailer is on the way. John only uses email mail and the phone, no email releases for him. I am on the fence, I want to buy but have spent way too much this month. That he sells in set packages does not help either. If you are forced to buy in sets of three it is not that bad, but sets of six is harder for me to accept.

I do believe they increased case production to low 400's for the 2015 vintage

I had this problem a while back. I bought a 60 bottle cooler in addition to my Le Cache. Problem solved. I guess we shouldn't send you links to wine cabinet resellers?

Miura arrived today at my ABC store... we do it different in Loachapoka. Pick up tomorrow after paying the Gov a couple of dollars. That leaves 150 still waiting to be inventoried.

The Walls Winery - Concrete Mama Syrah
Goes on sale November 2nd at 10:00AM Pacific

The Walls Winery in Walla Walla is only a couple of years old but is well funded and has been producing some nice wines both reds and whites.
The reds are Rhone varietals, generally from Red Mountain.
Concrete Mama is their first offering using fruit from The Rocks District. It's a hint of things to come since they are planting an 18 acer estate vineyard in The Rocks in the spring.

So if you're on the Cayuse wait list, this might be a wine worth trying.

And a female winemaker! Looks interesting. And a sweet price point as well.

Looks like Scarlett and Myriad are on their way. Not crazy about the shipping methods - does Wine Country Shipping have alternative motives other than getting the wine shipped to customers as safely as possible?

Rhys fall offering is live. Not quite sure how interested I really am. Would mostly be buying to stay in for future releases. Likely going to pass.

I made the list four or five releases ago and have yet to purchase, I would not be concerned about getting dropped.
I would like to try their Chardonnays but I am really trying to cut back. Really.

I got a call yesterday from my local ABC store saying that I have a couple of wine packages to pick up... WTF? I don’t have any clue as to what they are as I thought... oh, just remembered that I had Rasa send me my bud’s wine since they are off to Patagonia. That makes me feel a bit better about my poor memory.
