I'm not participating this year, but I'll chime in on the proposed blind bid waiver system FWIW. In a league I've done for 9 years now, we instituted this 2 years ago. I was dead set against it, but I was overridden. I'll say this, after two years: I'm a convert. It allows you to be far more strategic, and can even allow the "best" teams to mess themselves up by overpaying. If you really want a waiver add, EVERYONE has the ability to go after him/her if you have money (versus having zero shot because your team is good). Again, tell me to jump in a lake and stuff it, but it is kind of fun. Also, you're able to see what the non-winning teams bid for the same player after waivers clear, which is always interesting to see. For example, it's fun to see if you successfully bid $1 more than the next highest bid. It's also quite funny to see you far overpaid for a player. I once acquired a free agent I really wanted and, fearing that everyone was going to bid for him, I paid $25 of my $100 budget. The next highest bidder? $7. Translation: I waaaay overpaid.
