Do you know the story of linguine? It was a collaboration by a Chinese woman and an Italian man. The woman, Ling Mi Tsu, and the man, Guido Guinne, had both decided to make a thicker noodle than normal for their restaurants that were right next door to each other. Her, for the seafood dishes, and him for the tomato gravy. After experimenting with different gauges of pasta, they settled on the size that is still used today. Romance blossomed between the two, followed by marriage, and Guido honored his new wife Ling Guinne by naming their new noodles after her.... which has been slightly shortened over time to "linguine".

While doing some research on Communism and Socialism as I'm comparing what's happening in modern America to countries that have had either system in place for years, and I came across a short biography of Karl Marx. Did you know he had a sister named Anya? She was an athlete for the Russian National Team in the Summer Olympics. She was such a good sprinter that she's now honored before every race as the first thing the starter says: "Anya Marx.....get set....." and then the pistol is fired.

I call BS on both, but maybe that’s the point of your posts in this thread! Btw, you’re starting out the year in top form!
