Would it be safe to ship Krug during this cold snap? I’d hate to have it explode.

Your best bet is to ship it to me in Sarasota, we’ll be there after Thanksgiving. Of course, as a further precaution, I’ll open and taste it to make sure it survived the trip ok.

Oh that’s an easy answer… just go for the Premier Crus and I’ll be just fine with your decision making. I hear aged Brunellos are also a good choice. Just saying…

Only if it's fermented.

Am checking my list at least twice. Why do I always match with someone who has a much bigger cellar them me? Or maybe a much smaller one? Only Santa knows!

The great part of this is that my giftee is looking for a wine that is totally in my wheelhouse. Or maybe the opposite of that... I am not saying.

I never realized before how many boxes of Franzia you could get for $50.

I saw your boat. A patio umbrella mounted in a rowboat bench is hardly a wheelhouse.

Do you know what a $50 vat of Muscadine looks like? Hmmm...

What a find, try not to drool too much. Still has the tax stamp attached! You can thank me later.

Yeah, I am amazed that after all these years, Santa STILL has a few bottles of Boone's Farm in the cellar.

Obviously CT Santa is a man of distinction who prefers his top wines with at least 15 years of cellaring.

Wine identified and maybe or maybe not already on the way. Got my notice from the head elf that a shipment is headed my way as well. Getting close to the time where one just has to wait …..

Wine also identified and maybe ordered (or did I just order more for me?) and it may or may not be ready for shipping and it may or may not resemble a bottle of vintage Boone’s Farm Strawberry Hill Demi-sec… such is the vagaries of SS shenanigans.

How to chose when "Anything Goes"?

Maybe something lacking....... It would be wrong to send something they really consume and I know they like.

CT Santa has been thirsty this year... his cellar is empty, other than the lingering bottles of Boone's.

If you look at his consumption history you will see that he throws a massive New Year's Eve party every year.

Still mulling over what to give. Looking at auction houses for aged diamonds in the rough. I hate dealing with packing tape.
