I can't wait for TNs to start coming out on these Goodfellow sparklers. I admire Marcus, I've enjoyed some of his Pinots a lot, and I've enjoyed his Chardonnays even more, overall. Buuuuut, I couldn't get myself to splash-out for these --- I fear they'll be too light and simple, even for my grower Champagne palate.

All I did this year was 15lbs of Flannery hangers (what a deal!!!) and 12 bottles of Ladd (incredible Chardonnays, and interesting reds that are well worth their price of admission). Eric's Ladd label deserves to blow-up, on account of his Chardonnays alone.

I wish I would have been clairvoyant, and seen last weekend's Grassl Mineralite breakage coming; alas, I was not and did not, so I'll likely hold-out 'till next year to replace it (I was already down to seven of those stems, and I prefer to have eight, so we'll "just have to make do" with six (minus any further breakage) until then.

I likely would have bought more heavily, except I *really am* making an effort to buy less because our wine holdings are currently well-over capacity, with more than 15 additional cases still pending. So, overall, I'm happy with how this BD played-out for me.
