This winery is one of the oldest in Australia and has produced wines under slightly varying names. Originally, it was Tabilk. This was changed to Chateau Tahbilk. This is not of great concern to CT users since it happened in 1878. More germane, the winery dropped the 'Chateau' portion of its name and now produces wines solely under the moniker 'Tahbilk.' To avoid confusion in Cellartracker and maintain the linear history of the wines, the Producer name has been changed to just 'Tahbilk.' Thanks, A.
