Manfred Krankl at Sine Qua Non is making some of the most unique and special wines to have ever come from California. Alas, the wines are branded with whimsical names which change from year to year, so classifying them has proven a bit difficult. In an effort to clean this up we have sourced a complete roster of SQN and Mr. K wines from Manfred and cleaned up all of the dupes in the database to match. Meanwhile, for posterity, here is the complete, current list as provided by Manfred.

NOTE: I have updated this list over the past year after Manfred's original emails.

Eric, thank you for posting this list from Manfred.  My wife & I are truly fortunate to have been on the SQN distribution from the beginning (my wife was Manfred's assistant and helped bottle the first vintages). Two requests:
1. You may want to fix the typo on Manfred's last name in your post.  Though very passionate about wine, art, music and his family, in all the times we have been around Manfred he has always be incredibly fun & witty and not cranky.
2. Is it possible to have Manfred make a list of the "project wines"? We have the 1992 Black & Blue he made with Michael Havens as well as the 1995 Tant Pis! that Elaine & Manfred made with Lorraine & John Alban in tribute Jacques Reynaud and it is very difficult to find information on these wines. I can't find the wines in the CellarTracker! database, but I suspect other members have them.

thanks

Hi Eric,
Is it possible to update your list of the SQN wines.  A friend of mine was looking for a complete list.

All the best regards,
Joel.

I will try to update this one soon. However, the site has the complete list in the database already, right here: http://www.cellartracker.com/pickproducer.asp?szSearch=sine+qua+non&Sort=vintage&Method=&PickWine=on
