So the "what I bought this week" post is really a little inappropriate, as I tend to buy all summer long but am pretty lazy about keeping track.
This makes for an early Christmas, as I tell the whole world it's okay to ship after 01 Nov and then the boxes just start to roll in ... today:
1998 Pol Roger Winston Churchill x 6
Linne Calodo 2007 Sticks & Stones 1.5 mags x 2
Linne Calodo 2007 Nemesis x 5 (SMG)
Linne Calodo 2007 Slacker x 5 (SGM)
Linne Calodo 2007 Outsider x 2 (ZSM)

So when the snow starts to fall in NC and the chill gets unbearable ... y'all need to come down to Austin and spend a weekend.
We can talk about CT "Far East" 2010.

Don't forget to add a little PNW flavor to the mix. Working on finalizing my contract with the client in Houston, then I would just have to figure a way to convince the wife that I need to weekend over every now and again.

And you, my friend, are always welcome here. Would be great if you could time it with an Izzy wknd. The porto only gets better as the temperature drops.
Are you driving over to WW tomorrow, or does the party start on Sat? Any good meals planned? Dinner at the Whitehouse Crawford?
Please say hi to Billo ... and then give the RJB a massive load of sh!t for me.

Just arrived in WW about 4 hours ago. This time we are renting a house, and I will say "Damn!" wish we had thought of this a long time ago, this place is great. Huge weekend planned, picking up my Cayuse and barrel tasting next years release, dropping in on all my fav's and a few new "rising stars" like Rasa, and then a highlight of the weekend I won't mention any details about, but certain to make a few of you wish you'd been here.

Will post as I can.

I wonder if Tacman has figured out that i'm the guy parked in front of his house with the pop up camper...hoping to be first in line...and i live here!....sort of like back in the day sleeping on the sidewalk for a week to get Van Halen tickets...

oh and just so you know...for the uninitiated...us Texans are econmical in our linguistic skills...Y'all is both singular AND plural.

Three bottles of Roy Estate (Phillipe Melka, Winemaker; Aaron Buoncristiani, Asst. Winemaker) showed up yesterday. The day before it was my Melka Metisse St. Emillion. I'll laugh if today brings me a shipment from Lail (um, Phillipe Melka, winemaker.)
