Another one....

1994 Estancia Meritage (USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles)

1994 Estancia Meritage (USA, California, Sonoma County, Alexander Valley)

Dups??

Cheers,
Dave

EDIT: Looks like it may be complex, if you haven't already noticed. Their website currently lists only a Paso Robles Meritage, but I have a bottle of 1994 Meritage that is clearly labeled Alexander Valley on the front & back labels, with no mention of any other region (such as the southern variant they now have gone with). Perhaps they switched somewhere along the line?

In 1999 they purchased substantial vineyards in Paso Robles and moved their production of the Meritage to there. As far as I can determine, 2002 was the first year of production from that site and they did not produce two versions simulataneously. I have cleaned this up so the wine exists as follows :

Estancia Meritage 1990 - 2001  Sonoma County / Alexander Valley
Estancia Meritage 2002 - current  Paso Robles

If anyone is entering new records for this wines, please follow the existing models for the particular vintage.

Thanks,

A.
