9/13/2017 - Rieslunder Likes this wine: 89 pointsDeep golden colour, rich nose of ripe fruit. Impressive density in the mouth, to much for my wife, I loved it though. Could be an Auslese trocken altogether. The charming acidity keeps it together, otherwise it might have been to broad and clumsy. |

9/13/2017 9:10:00 AM - From one of the steepest wine yards in the world, the Bremmer Calmont. Grown by 4 gentlemen in their free time, on a parcel they had recultivated after it was unused for quite some time. Turned into wine in the cellar of Weingut Reinhold Franzen.
I luckily came across this wine when I stumbled through the Calmont, while one of the makers was hosting a group of hikers within the parcel, offering this wine.
