A Dark red purple color, medium body, on the nose dark chocolate with dark fruits. First sip a lite touch of oak back by a dark cherry and plum tones with a hint of spice and liquorice. Tannis were soft but will improve a little bit more with age, but drinking well now! Silky and smooth going down, no real heat coming from this wine. Just a great wine! If you got it your lucky! This wine is a gem for the price. Should have bought 2 cases instead of the one. |
