Flavors are much more attractive, kind of like a dry port. In the finish, a touch of residual sugar combines with mature, plum/fig preserves to yield a rather interesting wine, marred only by a hint of cardboard. But what do you want from a wine this age? |

It tastes like lemon, lime and peach, followed by nutmeg and oak and a long stony finish. The body is light/medium. The wine has high acidity. It's a dry — but not super-dry — sparkling wine. Very nice. |
