Rather pleasant. But the next day becomes a little bit worse.

Wow, this was a find, I got it in a bargain bin for $5 and I'm going to hurry back to see if there's any left because it was a steal. This was my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon that I've ever tried that was not in the "too expensive to buy regularly" price range, for someone with my cheap tastes (I usually spend under $15 a bottle).

Dry, rich, full-bodied. Pleasantly bitter but low in sourness. Not the most complex aroma, a sort of muted, ripe berry-like aroma.

Very clean tasting, exceptionally pleasant to drink. One of my favorite wines that I've tried in a while.

Light and unremarkable, it had a bitter note which left after aout 2 hours. What was left was one-dimensional and not attractive. Used for cooking, which may be the only role for this one.

I actually had the 2012 & For an argentinian cabernet i think is pretty nice, the flavor is kind of mute really, but for a warm up wine in not that bad.

Pleasant little Argentinian cab enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim, good CT friend neighborbill and spouse Debbie at the monthly Hickory Wine Shoppe tasting in Hickory NC, excellent QPR at this price point. Good mouth feel, soft and medium bodied. Nose of blueberry and cola, primary flavors of blueberry, blackberry, some smoke. Can't go wrong with this wine at this price.

Pale lemon colour. Medium (-) and youthful nose with green apples, lime and white flowers. Medium taste of green apples and lime. Short and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. An acceptable Argentinian Chardonnay that feels a bit green. Drink now. Goes well with salads.

I got this in a discount / bargain bin for $5. I don't know what the usual price would be, but looking online I see it listed around $8.

Aroma is very yeasty, not very fruity. The alcohol comes out particularly in the finish, which I found awkward. Aroma is pretty simple. It reminds me a lot of the aroma of a typical cheapish-but-decent dry Champagne. There is, unfortunately, one off note in the aroma, I can't describe it easily but it smells stale, like a closet, or old cardboard. It's up front, in the nose, and it is gone in the finish, which I'm grateful for because at least the wine ends on a more positive note, if you don't mind the boozy quality.

Flavor is soft, but moderately sour: the sourness feels round rather than sharp. Only a bit of sweetness, and no bitterness, the flavor is pretty flat, with mostly sourness and not much else.

I can see this wine pairing well with fresh-baked bread. I almost feel a craving for such bread, when drinking it. Overall, this was drinkable and pleasant, but I've had numerous other wines in this price range (or cheaper) that I prefer. I thought this wine good for a bargain buy of $5 but I would think it a bit overpriced at its normal / full price, and even in the under $5 range I think there are better wines (I like Concha y Toro's Frontera Chardonnay). The alcoholic finish, lack of fruity notes, and lack of complexity in the flavor and aroma were what would lead me to pass on this one if I had another opportunity to buy it.

Very inexpensive. Not oakey at all - more like a sauvignon blanc than a chardonnay. Drinkable and bright, but not something I would go back to or serve again at a dinner or cocktail party.

I did use it several times over the summer for a white wine sangria and it was lovely in that form.

Taste "Incredible Deals" All Priced < $10 for Only a Buck (San Diego Wine Co.): VERY lt in color; 12% ABV

N: Slightly closed/muted; strawberries, flowers

P: LM body; Almost swtish frt on the front balanced by acidity; Long, somewhat tangy, very slightly astringent finish. EXCELLENT value in a LIGHT, drink through '18 style. [This vendor's $4.99 is DEFINITELY competitive!]

Tastes like a Malbec, I guess. Fruit forward and sweet on the palate. No depth and a bit harsh in the finish. But, at 7.50 a bottle one can't be too picky. Some spice notes to add interest.

Dove in with relatively low expectation - it was a $4 bottle, though the quality you get from inexpensive Argentine wines has always been impressive. I have to say this wine did exceed expectations. It is a perfectly drinkable Malbec. It is by no means complex, but it is young and fruity, with a nice smack of acidity and tannins.
