2/12/2020 - boatman72 Likes this wine: 88 pointsI drank this over 2 weeks! Yes, 2 weeks!! Now to add to that, I'm not a fan of Chardonnay and I bought this to add diversity to my collection and to share with family and friends. I opened a bottle to see if my decision to buy had value. It was a very nice Chard. On the nose some lemon and typical Chard aromas. On the palate, green apple, and nice acidity and a little minerality. I was impressed with the wine QPR and that it drank nicely over 2 weeks!! |

8/25/2016 - air guitar & pinot noir Likes this wine: 91 pointsVery nice Pinot with dark cherry foundation. Some ripe black plum, baking spice and a bit of "grape seed" tannins as well. Medium bodied with nice structure. Fruit integrated into the other aspects of the wine. Finish hung around for an extended time. Nice acidity gave it a lift. |

Cherries, nutmeg and a hint of cola on the palate. The finish is exceptionally long. Elegant, classy Pinot Noir. Drink over the next 3-5 years. |

6/13/2015 - tomlee wrote: 92 pointsFrom the Estate Vineyard in Carneros. Bright red in color. 14.4% ABV. Big nose of black fruits, Christmas spice and anise. Medium to full body with mouth watering acidity. Big in structure but well balanced. Black cherry, cranberry and sarsaparilla on the palate. The wine finishes strong. Big and bold without being over the top. Will benefit from a year or two in the cellar and drink well over the next 4-6 years. |

2/22/2016 - rbc1978 Likes this wine: 93 pointsA fantastic Pinot with HUGE Flavor! Big black cherry, licorice, toasty oak, pomegranate, roast coffee. Not a shy wine! Not as bright as earlier vintages but still a fantastic single vintage wine! I paid more for it than I could have but was so enthralled with the 2010 vintage I was willing to buy....I think it could be even better if I had properly let this wine breath. 1 person found this helpful, do you? 2/18/2019 - WineKV Likes this wine: 96 pointsFull body, full fruit Pinot. Needs 20-30 minutes to open up, but when that happens, the wine is a rock star. A full mouth flavor, with a long and delicious finish. |

4/1/2019 - Wardad Likes this wine: NRDecanted for several hours before even trying. It was fantastic, on it's own as well as with grilled pork. Wonderful nose. Strong new world but still very Pinot character. I just polished off the last bit, sitting in the bottle on the counter for 32 hours. Still great. |

10/20/2019 - HWgeek Likes this wine: 93 pointsThis really really needs decanting! PnP doesn't do it justice, ends up being tight and almost flavorless. Even an aerator wasn't enough. 1st pour was through the aerator, helped open it up a bit. Still took about 20 min to open up more. Open, pour into a decanter, let sit for about 40-45min. Then enjoy. Has nice nose with vanilla, oak and black raspberry. The palate once it opens up has pomegranate, dark plum, chocolate and some vanilla. It has that silky balanced mouth feel, without excessive tannins with a long finish. |

2/6/2022 - deadlyapp Likes this wine: 89 pointsFirst things first, this isn't a restrained pinot or burgundian at all. This is very much bordering on a heavy syrah. With that said it is a beautiful wine. Currant, sweet raspberries, and pepper on the nose. Round currant and black cherry, leather, cedar, black licorice, some cola. It's got a few years left for sure. |

1/20/2022 - jayw wrote: NRExpressive nose. Rich, ripe fruit, with lots of buttery oak and a little spice. Medium-bodied, with a silky texture and integrated tannins. Not my favorite style of Pinot Noir, but good for what it is. It was a good match with a pan-fired chuck steak and sauteed green peppers, but it's not the kind of Pinot that does well with a wide variety of foods. Only fair value at $19.
