This wine is made by well known producer Ant Moore and is a reasonable 12.5% alcohol, only used oak barrels. |

Some decent red fruit, little bit of vanilla and oak too. Not enough minerials to accomplany the structure for my taste. What I don't like about this wine, for now, is the finishing. Water and taste sort of depart in the mouth for a little bit when approach the end, not to mention except the spice aftertaste, the finish is dissapointing. I hope time will help. Not a bad buy given the price. Certainly a winery to watch out for when the vines are older. |

What I actually got was a bone-dry, quite savoury wine with pear and floral notes and lots of minerality in the finish. Once my brain had adjusted to this idea I quite enjoyed it, although the 13.5% alcohol was a bit overbearing. |

But as it came round it showed itself as reasonably creamy but with some decent tropical fruit. Fresher than many Alsace examples, but with much more character than many Italian pinot grigios. Nice, fresh, spring wine. |
