2/3/2013 - woody57 Does not like this wine: 74 pointsindistinct; very little nose and not much more on the palate; not unpleasant, just bland |

Has nice legs on it after swirling a few minutes prior. Slight tartness like from a blackberry and dark cherry, no heavy tannins on the tongue, but not watery at all. The taste does not linger on the palette. Still a smooth easily enjoyable Malbec. |

Whole foods has it on sale as part of their summer win collection, and I am tempted to buy an entire case. Not like a lot of other Malbecs I have had. Some have that woodsy or green taste, but this one has a smooth taste that finishes with hints of plums and black cherries. With or without a cheese it is great. For just a few pennies over $8 a bottle, how can you go wrong? |
