Vibrant and mineral like a Riax Baixas should be, with some quite ripe canned peach. Nice frresh acidity, but it's a tad weighty for what I look for in Rías Baixas, and it has those riper fruit showing on the palate too. Nice mineral finish of good length.
I'm not sure what 2008 was like, but it's a bit ripe for me.

Bill's Monthly Lunch - November 2010 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind - light yellow in colour. Pronounced nose of citrus fruits, green apple and hints of wood. Flavours of tropical and citrus fruits with medium acidity and a medium body. A lively wine with a pleasant tartness on the medium length finish. A nice refreshing aromatic white. Very good.

Great wine, citrus, more towards grapefruit, some nice mineral and herbal flavours and the wine went well with steamed mussels in white wine and tarragon and balsalmic, yummy!
