Balances smoke, nuts, and honey
Oaky, peaty, and campfire-smokey. Walnuts, toasted nuts, honey, and light citrus. Approachable, easy, and rewardingly complex.

Nice example of Bowmore product at a resonable price. Nice smell or orange, dark chocolate, dried fruits. Smokey and peat are present in this malt but not to strong. Alcool is not to strong in the taste. Well balanced for an entry level scotch.

Saline, swimming-pool green-ness, intresting lemon and sea-spray. Soft smoke, heather. Nutty, toasted savoury notes. Soft dry fruit, grass and heather.
Woah, palate is chlorine/chlorox, with a streak of handsoap and toilet fragrance. Dusty white florals, talcum powder. Sweet with time in glass, a little warming. Hefty spritz of artificial air freshener. Distracting.

Watering opens with fresh seaweed, iodine. Now palate shows chinese-restaurant hand-wipes (slightly sudsy), green fruit, more chlorine and sea-spray. No escaping the streaky handsoap. Finishes with interesting dried seaweed and raw wood. One of the few whiskies not redeemed by watering.

oh wow, dark amber in glass, dark smoke with raisins, dried figs and salted caramel on the nose. Lifted charred hay, saline, crystalized ginger. Dried chinese root herbs.
Sweet, concentrated, more burnt sugar, praline almonds, bitter cocoa. Dessicated blood orange rind, impressions of fresh printer's ink. Finishes with brassy notes, long and lingering.
Concentrated, lifted, if somewhat hot?

With watering, a clean, lifted nose emerges, showing stone fruits, next-morning fireplace embers, savoury sea proteins (dried conpoy).
Palate is also lighter and noticeably sweeter, with toasted pastry crust, with still-persistent bitter streak, and transparent oak notes. Long finish, with more pronounced savoury iodine, going down slow and glowing. Complex and intruiguing.

Deep dark colour
Amazing nose, rancid like an old cognac, think apricot, walnut, and tobacco, with orange peel, wood smoke and toffee.
Aromatic pepper corns, chilli and cardamom. Highly aromatic. Breezy menthol notes. Dried fruit, walnuts and chestnuts. Salt. Touch of tannin.
This is an amazing whisky.

Dried fruit, caramel, spicy medicinal notes, dark chocolate and wood smoke,
Spicy palate, szcheuan pepper, salt and tobacco with touch of chestnut on the finish.
Lovely mixture of Sherry and smoke.

n(nose):24/25 焦糖布丁、草莓果酱、烤海苔、杏脯、黑巧克力、小核桃仁、烟熏培根、烤橡木、甘草糖、淡淡皮革、aromatic, 酒精感恰到好处; t(taste): 23/25 咸香甜美, 如同嚼着一块海盐黑巧克力, 54.9%的酒精入口舌尖一辣, 但转瞬即逝, 随后口舌生津, 一丝黄色水果的身影, 木瓜, 巧克力主导, 泥煤烟熏 f(finish): 21/25 十分悠长, 酸甜咸苦, 苦味留喉, 一丝烟熏、可可粉、皮革、烟草丝 b:(balance and overall complexity) 23/25 复杂而平衡, 香气随着时间和温度变化(外加两滴水)，多出了香蕉、葡萄干、薄荷和sweet bbq sauce, 更加咸鲜，20年Pedro Ximénez桶中的岁月在杯中一个小时逐步绽放, 波摩一号窖藏名不虚传。91/100 Overall

W.A.N.K. (Gary's place, Rosebery): Lightly peated, slightly fishy, barley, spice, floral notes with time and a touch of stone fruit. Plenty of alcohol heat on the palate despite only 43%, lovely, smoky notes, textual on the palate. Very nice.
