4/17/2023 - Acostaca Likes this wine: 89 pointsNothing like New Zealand SB. This wine is deep yellow with a nose and palatte of melons and florals. A hint of sweetness balances the typical acidity. Quite pleasant. |

11/14/2022 - Acostaca Likes this wine: 88 pointsGranted, I’m not very familiar with Bordeaux SB, but this is nothing like mainstream New Zealand and California wines. If you’re looking for citrus or grassy aromas and flavors you won’t find them here. Still, I found it pleasant enough with fruit and the influence of barrel aging. Perhaps I did miss a touch more acidity. |

2/3/2008 - Paul D wrote: 82 pointsPale/medium ruby, pale ruby rim. Red and black berry fruit, some spice and tobacco complexity on the nose. Only moderately intense on the palate with moderate, but slightly green tannins. Quite simple berry fruit, decent acidity and then a medium length, slightly tannic finish. Not bad, easy to drink, decent "luncheon claret". |
