It’s pretty approachable – hey, it tastes like plums and cherry cordials and raspberry liqueur and baking spice, come on in! But there’s a little tartness, a little verve, that makes it quite interesting. I could see a beardo natural-wine snob and a Kendall-Jackson wine mom, against all odds, finding true love over a bottle of this. Blessed be their union. |

Lovely pairing, this is a terrific food wine. It’s elegant, well balanced, and the long decant smoothed the tannins. From a south facing high elevation vineyard in the Yorkville Highlands AVA of Mendocino, just north of Sonoma County. |
