Fresh strawberry and floral aroma. Not overly sweet but it can be pair with sweet appetizers. Should be served cold.

Possibly the best available Cerdon? Pink-light reddish colour. Very fine effervescence with perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity, classic aromas of strawberry, sour cherries and hints of bitterness. A perfect wine to accompany red berry desserts (and others?).

A private dinner (Restaurant Choux, Amsterdam, NL): Fruit explosion, apple and grenadine, bright and grippy like a cider, bitters and flowers, rosehip and strawberry, excellent minerally length.

A blend of Gamay (80%), Poulsard (15%) and Chardonnay (5%). Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in tanks, bottled after the wine has gone through 2/3 of fermentation. The wine continues to ferment in the bottle for a little bit more, producing CO2 until the wine is carbonated and the rising pressure stuns the yeasts. After this, the wine is disgorged, leaving behind a naturally sparkling, medium-sweet pink wine. No chaptalization, no dosage, no sulfites. 7,5% alcohol and approximately 40 g/l residual sugar.

The color is somewhere between a deep pink and a pale strawberry red. A generous pour brings about a big pink head which dissipates instantly. Fragrant, sweet-toned and very attractive nose with aromas of strawberries, some yeast, a little bit of raspberry marmalade, light sappy notes of spring leaves and a hint of rose hips. The wine is light-bodied, lively and medium-sweet to sweetish on the palate with fresh flavors of raspberry candies, wild strawberries, some cooked red gooseberries, a little bit of sweet grapey fruit, a hint of yeast and a sappy touch of green herbs. A small yet persistent mousse. Nice, structured and moderately high acidity. The finish is sweet, quite long and slightly sticky with fragrant flavors of raspberry marmalade, some strawberry jam, light fresh notes of red damsons, a little bit of sappy herbal spice, a hint of tart green apple and a touch of spicy minerality.

A very fun, tasty and playful little fizz that feels like a missing link between an Alpine red wine and a sweet cider. Nothing too complex, but instead enormously delicious and eminently drinkable. Although the wine was a treat on its own, it went perfectly with slightly hot and subtly sweet Pad Thai dish. Solid value at 14,50€.

Quite sweet. Almost like a dessert wine. But amazing dark pink color and lots of fresh red berries in the glass.

pleasant bit of funnk upon opening, blows off to reveal sweet bubblegum fruit on the nose. i prefer other bugey petillant wines on the whole - this one is simply too sweet without the balancing acidity, and it comes off as simple.
