This wine is just delicious! Rich and lush aromas and flavors. Dark ripe fruits are the dominant flavors, aromas give you the idea of super sweet but that is not the case. This was very balanced to me, and is the perfect match for meat-centric or more traditionally Cabernet paired foods.
Happy that this came back up for sale and is a just an easy drinker with ot without foods.

Just love this wine and am sorry that I am down to the last bottle!
Smooth, and easy to drink. Fruity but not sweet, very aromatic with berries & cherries, plus some spice.

Easy drinker !

Decanted using a Coravin in a glass for one hour. Better on day one. Medium finish. Brick red in glass. Dark fruit and smooth tannins. Nice middle of the week wine. Went well with pizza yesterday.

Rich and luscious. This is just a straightforward cabernet... Dark fruits, jam, figs...initially sweet-ish on the nose, and on the palette it was smooth, relaxed and medium to long finish.
Excellent with burgers as well as red sauce.
Wish I had bought more!

Excellent Cab for a second label (Beau Vigne). Exhibiting good fruit and the tannins are plentiful but fairly tame (supple) given the vintage. I think this has plenty of time left, but mildly concerned that the acidity may be a little low. 93+ pts. PJP 2020.

Nice balance of age and beauty. Still lots and lots of life left on this one. Drinking quite well now. Short decant (45 minutes) and drank over 4+ hours. Last glass was the best glass.

A wide variety at LWS (Gruaud, D'Issan, Rinaldi +++) (Colonial Beverage, Chesterland Ohio): This drinks like a Bordeaux blend and is not bad. Easy drinking and seems ripe. Purple in color. The nose has cherries, dark cherries, some black raspberries. On the palate, dark cherries. Has a slight artificial taste but overall nice. Easy drinking. Light tannins. Not much depth. Nice finish. I would be happy to drink this if not blown away.

In the past we have been impressed with this wine for the price. However, this bottle wasn't as good as ....maybe it's going through an ugly phase as I would assume a 2012 (of just about any CA red) would be fairly good.

2013 Napa Cabs under $65. (My home): This was the least expensive wine on the table. It stood out from the others. Not as a bad wine, as it was quite good. But, that it lacked the depth or concentration of the others. Rather, it had a certain quality like a wine that one might serve at a BBQ or party but that was really good. The nose has black raspberries and slight spice. On the palate, this is sweet and jammy but not too over the top. Delicious. At $30, it is priced fairly I think. Kind of a hokey label but I liked it.

This is the "second label" of Beau Vigne and is a Merlot based Meritage: 78% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot. Very approachable, balanced, and classy. Great QPR at less than $50.

This is a "second label" at Beau Vigne in Yountville using purchased Napa grapes mostly from a Rutherford supplier. Tasted in the tasting room. For less than $50 at the winery, this is a steal given the high quality. Young, but approachable with dusty tannins, big black fruits, solid acidity, followed by a long finish. Recommend a long decant short term to allow it to aerate and settle.

Really enjoyed this bottling! After a couple of years in the cellar, the tannins had really integrated well. Not a ton of depth here, but this had great balance between the berry fruit, cedar, and vanilla oak. Drinking really well now. Would recommend dirnking if you still have in the cellar.

Decent merlot blend, astringent nose on first opening that mellows to berry after some air. Still not getting a high alcohol burn as noted earlier. Enjoyed this very much.

The wine has a deep purple color. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, petrol, blackberry and bell pepper. It tastes like black currant (cassis), cherry and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has a smooth texture. The wine has a medium/long finish. The wine has low acidity. This wine should drink well for the next 5-8 years.
