1/17/2022 - MK_Maxxable Likes this wine: 89 pointsThis wine is just delicious! Rich and lush aromas and flavors. Dark ripe fruits are the dominant flavors, aromas give you the idea of super sweet but that is not the case. This was very balanced to me, and is the perfect match for meat-centric or more traditionally Cabernet paired foods. |

4/4/2020 - MK_Maxxable Likes this wine: 89 pointsRich and luscious. This is just a straightforward cabernet... Dark fruits, jam, figs...initially sweet-ish on the nose, and on the palette it was smooth, relaxed and medium to long finish. |

3/11/2020 - ppaluszewski Likes this wine: 93 pointsExcellent Cab for a second label (Beau Vigne). Exhibiting good fruit and the tannins are plentiful but fairly tame (supple) given the vintage. I think this has plenty of time left, but mildly concerned that the acidity may be a little low. 93+ pts. PJP 2020. |

Easy drinking and seems ripe. Purple in color. The nose has cherries, dark cherries, some black raspberries. On the palate, dark cherries. Has a slight artificial taste but overall nice. Easy drinking. Light tannins. Not much depth. Nice finish. I would be happy to drink this if not blown away. |

4/27/2016 - Loren Sonkin wrote: 90 points2013 Napa Cabs under $65. (My home): This was the least expensive wine on the table. It stood out from the others. Not as a bad wine, as it was quite good. But, that it lacked the depth or concentration of the others. Rather, it had a certain quality like a wine that one might serve at a BBQ or party but that was really good. The nose has black raspberries and slight spice. On the palate, this is sweet and jammy but not too over the top. Delicious. At $30, it is priced fairly I think. Kind of a hokey label but I liked it. |

12/13/2015 - wmccone54 wrote: 92 pointsThis is a "second label" at Beau Vigne in Yountville using purchased Napa grapes mostly from a Rutherford supplier. Tasted in the tasting room. For less than $50 at the winery, this is a steal given the high quality. Young, but approachable with dusty tannins, big black fruits, solid acidity, followed by a long finish. Recommend a long decant short term to allow it to aerate and settle. |

Not a ton of depth here, but this had great balance between the berry fruit, cedar, and vanilla oak. Drinking really well now. Would recommend dirnking if you still have in the cellar. |

8/23/2014 - chammock Likes this wine: 90 pointsThe wine has a deep purple color. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, petrol, blackberry and bell pepper. It tastes like black currant (cassis), cherry and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has a smooth texture. The wine has a medium/long finish. The wine has low acidity. This wine should drink well for the next 5-8 years. |
