Very smooth and a very long finish. Alcohol level less noticeable this time as everything is integrated in an evenly balanced manner. i suggest therefore drink up as little will be gained with further cellaring. Best with rare full throttle meats. |

On the palate this is just a huge monumental wine with everything turned up to 11 on the fruit/tannin/acid/oak/alcohol. Classic big Zin structure and needs time - at least another 4 years, possibly more(Zin can fall over quickly with little warning hence my conservative estimate). Like crossing Sangiovese with Durif. Calls for wild boar. |
