Se pointent alors des notes balsamiques, de fruits secs et de moka sur une belle trame fruitée assez riche. Peu tannique. Un bien bon rouge pour une vingtaine de dollars! |

Les tanins sont fondus, c'est digeste et avec une belle complexité aromatique. On trouve encore de supers RQP dans cette région et ce sont des vins qui s'accordent facilement à table. Avec une Bolognaise classique, ce fut parfait. |

Having being stuck in the house, decided to make some italian gravy and pasta and thought this would be great to use. The last time I tried this was a tasting with 3 other Amarone's and this came in last place (though still 89 pts). On it's own, this is showing better (perhaps due to no competition). Color is a dark red with signs of bricking. Nose is beautiful with dark cherries, chocolate and ripe plums. No signs of any funk. The taste is equally enjoyable with ripe plums, sour cherries and bits of chocolate covered strawberries. Tannins are still present but subtle and balanced with a beautiful finish. As I am writing and tasting I am increasing my score. Almost a little sad that I used have the bottle for the gravy.. |
