2/15/2014 - Tarrant wrote: 90 pointsAgree with some of the previous reviews, but perhaps I'll be a bit more kind as I believe we are experiencing the real, and significant issue related to screw caps (I'm in Canada, so not sure if it was under Stelvin for the others, but by far the most expensive wine we've had under cap), the issue being the trade off between TCI risk, and the glorious breathability of cork to allow a wine to evolve as in my opinion, this bottle could have been bottled in 2012 let alone being from the 2002 vintage - Dark, full bodied, with a nose of plum, blueberry, black fruit, spice, pepper and vanilla, very well made, balanced and a touch simple considering the pedigree, fruit forward and spicy, smooth on the palate with excellent length (90 Points).
