This is good - lots of plum, boysenberry, orange rind, meaty flavours. Minerally, orange juice acid. Dips a bit in the mid palate bit lots of interesting front palate fruit and back palate savoury interest. Good depth and length and highly enjoyable. |

Lots of tannin with the cabernet showing secondary notes but slightly dimmed, or washed out. I got stuck into it about an hour after opening but did not really improve after that, just held. Drink up. |

At 11 years old this is just cruising along beautifully, smells of blackberries and cedar, some plummy notes as well. Integrated palate, tannins nicely framing without dominating, great length and balance overall. Same blackberry flavours, maybe tea and slight hint of cloves, all meshes beautifully together. Great stuff from Blue Poles. |

Raspberry mixed with blackcurrant, tomato leaf and herbs, cedar oak and minerally acidity. Seamless from front to back - almost so tight and refined, you could miss the quality at this young age. More to come. |
