3/21/2017 - VinCrush Does not like this wine: 83 pointsI decanted this very dark purple wine for around 3 hours before consuming, but it was still didn't come around for me. Upon opening the bottle, the nose was classic Bordeuax... but it completely shut down after decanting. The air did help soften the tannins a bit, but it was still pretty rough. That may improve with more bottle age, but I don't think the fruit is there to support aging for too long. I'd pass on this one as I believe the tastes will be dead before the structure balances. www.vincrush.com |
