We live 90 minutes away and make frequent trips, but I always try to keep a bottle of stuff I buy to age, just to see what happens. Especially the local juice. This one was a pleasant surprise. Did it blow me away? No, but close. It lost its New World fruitiness and showed an Old Word savory character that, combined with the plush mouthfeel and long acidic finish, did just fine with dinner. Brav-oh. |
