5/9/2024 - ledocq Likes this wine: 91 pointsLight, refreshing, with a great spine of minerality. I had another bottle a few months ago that was a little too raw, but the last two have matured nicely. Shared with a bunch of non-wino friends and it vanished quickly. Very popular wine. |

2/17/2024 - Deegie Likes this wine: 87 pointsSaw them on Beserker Day 2024. Strong aromas of lemon, lime, and almond. All of those are confirmed on the palate. But what’s more interesting is the shockingly tart entry this wine has. My wife called it sucking on a lime. There’s a nice minerality on the fairly long finish. No discernable new oak, which is fine. Just seemed a little unbalanced on the whole. |

2/13/2024 - WY Leonidas Does not like this wine: 85 pointsDeep purple. Plums, red cherry, charred herbs. Medium body, a little hot. Fruit forward, with a lot of red cherry. The high alcohol threw this enough off balance to reduce enjoyment. And it unfortunately was a bit one note. Didn't improve with air time either. Bummer. |

8/16/2023 - thalver wrote: NRFor my tastes, this wine presents really nice balance and is a pretty perfect 'weight' for a new world syrah...neither too big and clunky nor another attempt to be overly lean and hip. The nose may not have been quite as expressive as the last bottle, dark and blue fruits on the palate and a lingering finish |

2/10/2023 - Discobiscuits42 wrote: 93 pointsNose of tobacco and bacon. Northern Rhone in style. A tad hot. Quite tasty. Tannins still fairly significant so decanting is a good idea. Lively acid drives it and makes it quite delightful. Very complex with some interesting floral notes on the back end. Really great with a memorable pizazz. Delicious dark chocolate, coffee notes, black cherry emerge after a few hour decant. |

9/28/2022 - Vargasjavi Likes this wine: 90 pointsNice floral pinot. Plenty of strawberry and red cherries on the palate and nose. Wish it had a bit more kick/brightness since it is a zero stem wine but pleased all around. Definetely a finely structured wine with passive tannis but with some mid to strong presence. Need to say, with each glass, the wine got better. |

4/16/2022 - rbrater Likes this wine: 92 pointsThis took some time to fully develop on the front palate. Initially there was an olive tapenade feel with a great ripe berry finish. With time on air, the balance on the palates developed. A great wine at an amazing price. 1 person found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (1) |

4/16/2022 - rbrater Likes this wine: 91 pointsA wonderful, ethereal syrah. Probably needs a little more time in the bottle to fully develop. Needs a long decant and airtime before it really starts to shine. A great effort. |

12/13/2021 - Richard P Howden Likes this wine: 91 pointsMore on the red fruited floral side of Syrah, with just a hint of Syrah tapenade. Mid weight palate, more red fruit, cherry, and some light tannins. Really lovely balance, mouth filling but not heavy. A nice Rhône influenced US Syrah. |

12/13/2021 - ledocq Likes this wine: 92 pointsBerserkerday purchase, and I am so glad for that. This is a terrific value, a light-yet-complex wine with a flavor profile that's intriguing - I can't quite draw a parallel to another domestic syrah, and saying "it's kinda Cote Rotie-ish" doesn't quite cover it either. Nice florals on the nose and palate, which, btw, gets better on day two. It was still in component parts on day one. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a good idea to hold onto these for another couple of years to see what they do. I will definitely go back for more. |

11/1/2021 - River Rat Likes this wine: NRI've always enjoyed Anne's Syrah and Rose, this is my first dive into her Pinot Noir. Dark color, not dense but translucent. Ripe dark cherry and pine sap on the nose. Very light bodied. Black cherry, tea leaves and an earthiness that I really dig. All on the light side though. A little edgy at first but after an hour it's rocking and rolling. Seamless across the palate with more of that pine sap/needle and sandalwood on the backside before the tannins kick in. Wonderful balance. Not sappy, not tart, just totally enjoyable. If this is a sign of things to come I'll need to make more room in the cellar for Belharra. |
