Blind tasted!
Not White Bordeaux...not New Zealand....not Loire Valley ( although two tasters skewed towards this area...initially).
On nose:a ghost of dried apricot, sea salt and warm stones.
On palate: all above flavour notes, with strong minerality , brick dust, light smoke, honeydew rind, blanched almonds and a hint of Meyer lemon.
Clean , vibrant acidity on a lean, medium body, at 6 years of age, suggest it can age for at least, a few more years.
Great shellfish and oyster wine.

Nose is light with floral and lemongrass notes.
Palate mirrors the nose, with a lovely perlant, a medium body and a delightful medium finish. And pairing with chicken paillard is perfection.

3/14/22 - Multiple waves of Goosebumps with the pairing tonight - a PERFECT pairing!
Chicken breast, with steamed asparagus dressed with hollandaise and hard- boiled egg wedges , with a side of mixed greens salad with a lemon- viniagrette dressing. OMG!!

On the nose lovely mineral and floral notes. On the palate, Is a perfect balance of mineral, acid, and sweet notes. Really lovely with wild mushroom ravioli and Broccolini.
10/8/21 - Had with Margarita pizza tonight, it is equally good and absolutely chill bump inducing!

Nose: mineral and ?pear, and on palate.
Medium weight snd mouthfeel.
Pairing; Mediterranean pizza, on naan, sauteed onion and garlic, roasted red pepper, pickled artichoke heart snd kalamata olives, and goat cheese all toasted for a couple minutes. Very good!!
7/19/21-- The other half of the bottle was drunk tonight with mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetarian meatball, and sauteed vegetables consisting of fresh zucchini, cherry tomatoes, onions and banana pepper. This was a perfect pairing tonight, absolutely wonderful.

Bright garnet colour with little rim variation. Bold black fruit characters on first impression followed by plum, blackberry and herbs. Fruit is confirmed on the palate with more black plum and black current, medium tannin and light fresh flint. medium + acidity, youthful and medium bodied. medium length finish. I think this wine is still youthful and will open further.

Gentle mixture of melon, apricot , and white fruits on the nose. The palate is similar , layered, balanced, with the addition of a nice minerality, and a little bit of perlant.
Lovely with apricot glazed chicken thigh, mac and cheese , and broccolini. A lovely European style Sauvignon Blanc.

Medium balanced nose, slightly phenolic. Nuanced, balance on palate, with light perlant. Crisp. Pairs well with anything light. Was also quite good with white cake and lemon filling.

Nice mixed citrus on the nose. Light, brief perlant on the tip of the tongue. The The mixed citrus continues on the palate, with a hint of zest on the follow through in a medium bodied and the lingering finish. A lovely accompaniment to Pasta with a combination of Alfredo and pesto over peas. And buttered Dutch Crunch bread.

Delicate lovely nose. Perfectly balanced on the palate between acid and sweetness , paired perfectly with corn chowder and would work beautifully with the right charcuterie, we love this wine.

Minerality and a light hint of flowers on the nose. Medium to full mouthfeel, with a backbone of minerality surrounded by dry and delightful balancing sweetness and acidity. Delicious with spinach and cheese tortellini, tossed with fresh spinach sauteed in Olive oil, garlic, red pepper and the wine.

Pale lemon, with some golden hues. The nose is clean, with green apple, ripe lemon, white flowers, lavender, sweet baking spices. The palate is dry, but with a sweet golden apple flavor. The acidity is medium and the alcohol is atypically high at 14.5%. This Friulano does not see any oak, but does spend several months aging on the lees, which makes the palate much richer and rounder than the nose. This comes across as full-bodied, with medium (+) flavor intensity and a medium (+) long, slightly bitter, slightly savory finish of salted almonds. This wine also changes flavor profile considerably depending on whether it is served on the colder or warmer side. It is drinking well now and really shows little sign of aging. It will probably do well for another couple of years.

Clear, medium yellow. The nose is clean, with aromas of golden apple, pear, lemon, tropical fruit (banana, pineapple) and white flowers. The palate is dry, but with some sweet fruit in the fore palate and a slightly savory, slightly bitter finish. The acidity is medium to medium (+) as is the alcohol (13.5%). This is a very pleasant, rounded wine which has more body, flavor intensity and character than might be expected at this price point. It is very good by itself or with a variety of foods. It is drinking well now and is probably at its peak, but should be fine for another year.

This wine was so much better than I had expected it to be that it really caused me to take notice. Good dark color and a very attractive perfumed nose. This wine still tastes very young. Just a ton of juicy dark fruit, but still nicely balanced, with moderate tannins and just a bit of oak. Exceptionally nice finish. Not a big wine, it drops off a bit at mid-palate and doesn't give much after the first rush of flavor, but make no mistake: this is fine, tasty wine! Furthermore, it is so well put together that I expect it will stay at this level for several more years. Modestly priced, and a real find. Highest recommendation. Wish I had more of this!
