1/11/2024 - Tim Heaton Likes this wine: NRPnP. For my tastes, this is in a perfect place (and not too likely to get better) right now, showing a harmonious balance of fruit, acid, and place. Med>med+ body, avg+ length to the finish and good mineral notes that aren't eclipsed by any heavy-handedness with the fruit. The label states 15,1% abv., though at this point in its life, it showed more like 14,0, and so of course I'm grateful for that. This seems to be just as enjoyable on its own as with food thanks to a certain brightness of energy. Kind of foursqurare, but that's only in the context of what I'm usually drinking. That said, I'm glad to have tried it. Drink now or in the next couple of years. recommended |
