4/24/2024 - Dave Dewar wrote: NRBottle #1 of 3 (375 ml). Decanted 90 minutes. Medium-dark ruby, watery rim. Aromas of cherry, mocha, peanuts. Flavours of under-ripe strawberries. Full bodied, high acid, XD, medium tannin, m-h alcohol (14.5%). Fine but nothing special at this stage - hold. Will try my remaining bottles in 2032 and, perhaps, 2040. |

4/20/2024 - finlero Likes this wine: NRSome light-to-moderate reduction, but eminently drinkable. Clean violet, very little bricking. Aside from the thiols, nose of plum and ammonia. Still good fruit on the palate, very ripe black plum, leather. Medium-long finish, nicely resolved tannins. Maybe approaching the end of its window, but to me, it's doing just fine. |

4/17/2024 - gfwetzel Likes this wine: 90 pointsAt a restaurant, from a half bottle. Essentially PnP, although it developed reasonably over 30-60 minutes. These notes were taken at the end of that period. The wine's color is a medium+ garnet. The nose has red fruit (cherries+), a bit of tar, a bit of leather, a bit of earth. The palate has cherries, some forest floor, not a lot of complexity. The body of the wine is a solid medium with balanced acids and tannins. The tannins are mostly integrated by now and support the wine but are not intrusive. This is a nice wine, but not a great one (especially for the price at a restaurant). ABV 14.5% |

4/13/2024 - jproject Likes this wine: NRPnP and initial thought is quite a nice nose that's more fruit forward than i expected with a hint of oak and slight brickish in colour. I think acidity is just right and nice balance of tannins as well that is not overpowering. Nice mid palate but I don't taste much complexity. I also think it has a short finish. However, overall I think this is a very easy drinking wine and I do enjoy it. |

4/1/2024 - Bolognese Diner Likes this wine: 88 pointsIt reveals itself with a garnet red color, compact and beautifully transparent. On the nose, there are evident fruity notes, embellished by hints tending towards spicy black pepper and cinnamon, with a subtle touch of cedar wood and a lovely sensation of leather. On the palate, it boasts excellent body, ample, round, and satisfying, with a warm sip that finishes with a licorice aftertaste. Pleasantly tannic with good length but not astonishing in persistence. |

3/29/2024 - Metalhorns Likes this wine: 93 pointsA young and eager Brunello here. Red plum, fresh strawberry, cherry and pomegranate are sensuously intertwined on the palate with a beautiful bouquet of dried flowers and perfume on the nose, fingering overtones of oak, leather and vanilla into the sheets. The tannins are silky smooth, with a curvy medium body that sprawls across your senses like afternoon sunlight peeking through drapes of shining ruby. A long finish offers a beautiful climax with every sip of this lovely, fruit-forward gem. |

3/25/2024 - Francophile1 Likes this wine: 92 pointsSimilar to my tasting note from January 2023. This has improved with age and it warrants a solid 1 hour decant minimum. Due to its purity of red cherry fruit, reminds me of the 2015 Poggio di Sotto Rosso. I assume this wine is aged in neutral Slovenian oak barrels? |

3/22/2024 - Kustjagr Likes this wine: 88 pointsWay too young. Red tomato flavors dominate = sangiovesish. Probably 5 years from starting to brown into a real brunello, I hope. At this age, you might drink most randon sangioveses without being able to tell much difference. |

3/16/2024 - mclanew Likes this wine: 91 pointsPopped and poured. Black cherry, leather, olives and herbs come through. The wine is fairly open knit, ripe but has good acidity. Fairly simple at this early stage but drinks nicely. |
