The consistency suggests my previous note was wrong and this is intentionally fizzy. The wine is super basic, with notes of strawberries, rose water and cherry. Light and fun...but uninteresting and a bit on the sweet side (which kinda ruins the party for me...if it was a bit more dry, I'd consider a pretty solid pizza pair). |

Your mileage may vary. That said, this was a slightly fizzy wine with notes of strawberries, rose water and cherry. Light and fun...reminds me of $2 bottles (of intentionally fizzy red) you can buy in grocery stores in and around Rome. |

12/17/2021 - PaulusLoZebra Likes this wine: 88 pointsThis bottle (LC1188) is IGT Veneto, not IGT Pavia, but the CellarTracker system would not let me add this as a new wine because the winemaker and their importer / distributor are using the same UPC code for both wines. This is probably a common practice in the wine business ! |

8/6/2021 - Henman Likes this wine: 89 pointsHad a glass at Bistro O from a opened bottle. A bit pungent nose with some tart dark fruit. Medium bodied, supple, acidic with firm tannic bite, showing mellow ripe dark fruit with a tiny roasted aspect. Actually very nice. |

7/23/2021 - The Drunken Cyclist Likes this wine: 88 pointsRetail $12. Extra Dry. 100% Glera. Over the past few weeks, I have been rather spoiled as I have been going through several bottles of Prosecco Superiore, and these past few days I have back-slid a bit to a half-dozen of the DOC level wines. This wine is perfectly fine and what one would expect from an Extra Dry Prosecco. Decent fruit, some salinity, nice acidity, just not overloaded with character. For right around ten bucks? There are worse out there. |

6/26/2021 - pmarlo Likes this wine: 90 pointsThe wine tasted primarily of peaches, and had a nice sweetness. One thing of note; I opened this wine probably 4 weeks back, had a glass, then used a tapered rubber cork to resell and back into the fridge it went. When I returned in June to finish it, the flavor was still there, and bubbles developed in the glass, a sign that the effervescence still present. Not sure if I should praise the cork, the wine, or both. A solid Moscato worthy of purchase. Recommended |
