This is a medium bodied wine of impeccable balance. The consistency is silky with harmonious complexity. This is truly an Old-World style chardonnay with 12.5% alcohol with a lot of Montrachet characteristics. It does lack the salinity that one would typically find in Montrachet wines. This wine is a blend of 92% chardonnay and 8% grechetto. The grechetto might explain the peach flavors. Overall, this is an elegant wine that is very Burgundian in style. |
