4/19/2024 - jocelyng Likes this wine: 91 pointsAbout the same as 6 months ago. Cedar, blackberry, graphite, cassis, some walnut on the finish. No sign of fading but I don’t think it will get better. |

12/28/2023 - La Grappe Likes this wine: 92 pointsThis is now opening up well. There is still some tannin, but the rich, dark plum fruit is dominant. The palate is full and savoury, and the finish is long. A fine example that should keep well and continue to improve. |

9/30/2023 - jocelyng Likes this wine: 91 points90-91. Cedar, graphite, blackberry ans cassis. I will give it 91 because of the extra long finish. It still tastes like a young wine ! Tannins a little dry. |

2/4/2023 - La Grappe wrote: 91 pointsA fine, elegant St Emilion, with good weight. Ripe plum/blackberry fruit, with some discreet tannin. Just about ready with a good decant (the hour or so I gave it was probably not enough), but perhaps try again in 2+ years. |

12/28/2022 - OddCollect Likes this wine: 91 pointsLight ruby colored, with medium-to-light body, this is delicious wine - the notes of blackberry and some vanilla hit you right away. Showed some sedimentation. After decanting for about 3 hours, the tannins subside to reveal a pleasant character. The structure is simple and the wine seems perfectly drinkable. Paired with blue cheese. |

6/4/2022 - TS wrote: 87 pointsBig, bold, and hardly recognizable as a St.-Emilion. However, if judged as a generic merlot, it is a good wine with dark fruit dominated by plum, but to high alcohol. |

2/18/2022 - lloyd.cochrane@googlemail.com Likes this wine: 94 pointsRemains a rich velvet red, little browning around the edge, looks younger than it is. Soft, quite buttery sweet fragrance, then blueberry fruit and a hint of vanilla. Soft mouth feel but not rich, toast and then strawberry fruit, oak and tannin grip finish. |

10/10/2020 - Collector1855 wrote: 88 pointsDark garnet. This Merlot was made in a big, plush way without being oxidative or overripe but there is very little typicity of a Bordeaux. The strong point is that the mid palate is very solid, especially for a 2007. Some alcoholic heat on the relatively short finish. More a commercial wine for a broader audience than a connoisseur wine. |

8/1/2020 - GaryHOhio Likes this wine: 92 pointsVery nice inexpensive 2009 Bordeaux. Fully integrated, smooth as silk, no hard edges at all. Paired very well with steaks. Doubt this gets better but should be fine for at least another 5 years. |
