Whoa baby. Rind, herb, and ocean. Lean on mid, but expansive and long finish. Dry and savory with some co2.

Pale lemon in color. Aromas of lemon, lime, green leaves and clay. The palate is dry, with pronounced acidity and medium alcohol. The mouthfeel is a little lean, whereas the minerality is medium (+). The palate is consistent with the nose, with lemon and lime flavors. This is a medium (-) bodied wine, with a medium (+) flavor intensity and a medium finish. The high acidity that is mostl noticeable at first yelds to a creamier mid-palate thanks to the ageing on the lees, The finish is medium in lengt. This wine is moderately balanced in that it is skewed slightly towards hardness. Drinkeable now, but past vintages were much more complex and softer after 2 or even 3 additional years of ageing. Good by itself, but very good with shellfish.

Pale straw color with Lemon, mineral, sweet floral notes on the nose. Lemon, peach, and a bit of nuttiness. Crisp acidity on entry paired with a bit of creaminess . A somewhat hollow mid palate is followed by a surprisingly long and broad minerally finish. Very refreshing wine and a great value from a producer previously unknown to me.

Consistent with the previous notes. It really has not deteriorated at al and is surprisingly age-worthy. This is a great value. It paired really well with scallops wrapped in pancetta.

Peach, melon and baked bread on the nose. Clean and fresh, with a vibrant fruityness that gives it the impression of being sweet whereas it is actually dry. Medium acidity. Nice, smooth, round finish with a slight hint of bitterness. Light to medium-bodied. This is a real crowd-pleaser; the bottle was almost finished by the time we got to the grilled seafood (with which it paired very well). Drink now. I am interested in seeing what the newer vintages taste like.

Simple yet delightful, with subtle honeysuckle, melon and vanilla notes. The fruit and the acidity are nicely balanced. This is a very clean, crisp drinkeable wine. I went back to the store and bought some more today!

Yum! Muscadet is such a killer QPR wine. Intense minerality, bracing acidity, but with a fruity, creamy leesiness that softens things nicely. Very much speaks of its place, and makes me very pleased to visit there. All this for under ten bucks. Absolute no-brainer for seafood, shellfish, and vegetarian dishes.
