It smells like blackberry and the aromas are extremely beautiful The body is medium/full and the tannins are not yet tamed. Obviously needs more years in the bottle but you can certainly understand the huge potential. The wine finishes never-ending. Life is too short too drink bad wine so buy a bootle and enjoy it! Clear Cabernet Sauvignan, and significant tannins. Nice wine of surprising provenance at a fair pv. Resembles a cru bourgeois left bank Bordeaux. Cassis, schwarze Kirsche, das Holz noch sehr präsent mit Leder, Dill und dezenter Vanille. Am Gaumen dicht und mit viel Druck, aromatisch intensiv, Cassis, Schwarzkirsche, Holunder, etwas Lakritze, feine Würznoten, vielleicht sogar etwas mineralisch. Im Abgang immer noch kräftiges Tannin mit ordentlich Grip, der Wein hält lange nach. Sicher noch zu jung, für meinen Geschmack vielleicht ein wenig zu sehr auf der fruchtigen Seite. Nose was expressive and intense. Aromas of maturity, red and black fruit and a healthy dose of barnyard. No obvious sign of oak which in other vintages was used a little heavy. On the palate it's flavorful, medium to full body, good structure with chewy but mellow tannins and refreshing acidity. Has a good finish. A very enjoyable wine despite its rusticity. Although I believe Syrah makes a better partner than Cabernet to Agiorgitiko there are some that are a cut above the usual blends (Megas Oenos of Skouras being one of them). This comes from one of Greece's premier Cabernet producers in Ilia, Western Greece. Tight nose on opening but soon opens out to a lovely array of sour cherries, blackcurrants, violets, light tobacco and lavender on the background. Medium body,velvety smooth and refreshing acidity, good length, sharp red cherries on the midpalate and very nice tannins. Lovely. Do you find this review helpful? Yes - No / Comment
