Medium yellow in the glass, tart fruit flavors of citrus, gripping acidity and an unusual astringency mid palate. Served in domestic first class on AA, would not purchase this wine.

Painfully poor PN with an aggro acidoc prophile. Terrible.
Agree w/Brigcampbell that this is not a man worth while.

Very mediocre Pinot from an area with high expectations. I'd guess they used wood chips in this production. Maybe not but it taste like a $10 Pinot from the supermarket.

Similar tastes to my other notes, different pairing. Shared with family and friends and a Christmas Eve dinner of Tur-Duck-En. Sad to see my last bottle go, but everyone enjoyed it.

Roasted, meaty aromas of rich blackberries, Mission figs, and spices over savory notes of plums, raspberry ganache, and toasty oak. Open knit and approachable, with soft tannins and a deceptively long finish.

Aromas of tropical fruit and fresh cut grass. Medium acidity, fresh, and medium crispness. Varietally correct, but overall very average.

Sparky's Nephew and I enjoyed this last Thursday night, we both felt it was a solid pinot, fruit forward but not over the top. We had it with delivered pizza and it went just fine and and I'm sure it would stand up to plenty of other lighter foods and compliment them well.

The pictures are meant to show color and color depth, I pegged it as medium in depth and ruby with a hint of purple. the wine is clear and sediment free. I liked the color, when a pinot is too dark I immediately think over extracted or possibly a blend. This is neither.
The wine is very aromatic, I could smell it from several feet away and it smells like a young wine still. The biggest component of the nose is a big cherry streak running through it. Lesser notes are raspberry and maybe pencil lead, which is not something I usually pick out in wine so I maybe confusing it with something else. I also got a little bit of heat. Overall a very pleasant nose that makes the wine out to be more fruit forward than it truly is. I did not detect any typical oak notes, like vanilla etc...... but others maybe more sensitive to it than I am.

On the tongue its dry, maybe a tiny hint of sweetness but nothing really noticeable or distracting. I wrote down light/medium bodied, a better descriptor would be a light bodied red. It has nice acidity to make a good food wine, on the Delong chart I marked crisp. As for tannins I felt they were best described as soft dry tannins. they were not very noticeable but you do get a bit of sneaky mouth dryness in the finish that could only be attributed to tannins. The wine is well balanced and full of fruit flavors. Its somewhat tart in the finish but the heat in the nose never surfaced in the mouth. The finish length is somewhat interrupted by tartness but it was pretty average in that regard.

Its a good everyday food friendly PN. It has a nice weight to it and good acid as well to make it a hit at the dinner table. I would put this slightly in the modern camp for PN. Its definitely not over the top but belongs more to modern wine making than old world. Its not particularly complex but you should expert that at this price point. This is solid for the price and definitely recommended.

Very light in color, thin tasting with a lot of sweet berry flavors, far too sweet for our taste, sugary aftertaste

Very Sauvignon Blanc. Nectarine and guava, fresh acidity upfront. Medium plus weight, somewhat round. Becomes very herbaceous on the finish, a lot of bell pepper. I liked it due to the pleasant upfront fruit, though may not appeal to all.

I am again very satisfied with this wine. Similar to my note on 22 August 2013 with the very same pairing. I decanted again, but this time for about two hours, with very pleasing results. Lots of berry in the nose, and a good amount on the palate as well. Delicious.

Shared this bottle with my fiancée last night over a dinner of perfectly cooked pork tenderloin. Excellent pairing. I have to say that I was impressed by this wine. Lots of berry in the nose and on the palate, with some vanilla thrown in there, too. A touch of spice, but certainly not too spicy by any means. I decanted for about an hour prior to dinner, and I thought it opened up nicely. It was delicious, and gone much too fast. Thankfully, I have three more bottles! Great QPR, also.

A WoMC-V selection, the nose has raspberry and spice. The wine itself is medium bodied, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of raspberry jam, plum. There is plenty (too much) of oaky vanilla but the wine succeeds as a decent Pinot in spite of it. The balance improved on the second day with less of a vanilla face-slap. Overall, the style reminds me of the Mark West Pinot . . . but this one is much better.
