3/11/2024 - jnewman77 Likes this wine: NRThis is good though I thought it definitely showed the heat of the vintage; the nose was initially quite ripe, almost liqueur like though it did gain some minerality and freshness with air; the palate was big with a borderline warm finish and while it stopped short of having any prune or significant heat on the finish it was not my favorite Pavelot. That said I think with age this could turn out quite nice. I'd give this a decade really from here and see if the warm fruit gains complexity and everything balances out. |

With time in the glass, the charm comes through. Fruit, smoothness and lovely length manifests itself. Some previous bottles have needed this time to come through, but the last one before this was fresh fruit from the word go. |
